"Kita" is the inclusive "we" in Malay, which includes both the speaker and the listener. This sums up the idea behind our firm: we do not see ourselves as consultants delivering advice from a distance. We understand your business and offer a supportive partnership, working closely with you towards the same goals.

"Kita" also means "north" in Japanese, a fitting nod to our firm's role in providing direction, guidance, and clarity.

Why we exist

Businesses operating in Asia often face the issue of finding competent tax advisors who combine deep international tax and transfer pricing expertise with the responsiveness of a dedicated hands-on partner.

This is why we started Kita Advisors. As senior tax advisors who have worked in-house for multinational companies, we can help you navigate complex tax issues, thus empowering you to make confident business decisions.

The founders

Jordi Bonabosch and Jeremy Poh are tax professionals who bring a wealth of experience, with a combined track record in Europe and Asia spanning Big Four firms and in-house roles at multinational companies.

Jordi and Jeremy first met when Jeremy took over Jordi's role at a French liquor and spirits company in Singapore. They later crossed paths again at a French cosmetics company where they developed the working partnership that would ultimately lead to the creation of Kita Advisors.
