Website privacy notice
This notice explains how Kita Advisors Pte. Ltd. ("Kita Advisors", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through www.kitaadvisors.com (the "Website"). It is separate from the Privacy Notice we give clients as part of a Fixed Price Agreement, which covers data we collect once an engagement begins.
1. What personal data we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. The Website does not use cookies, analytics, or other tracking tools.
2. Why we collect it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, and to consider whether we can help with what you are trying to build in Asia. We do not use it for any other purpose without telling you.
3. Who we share it with
We do not share your information with anyone outside Kita Advisors, unless your enquiry leads to an engagement, in which case it will be handled under the Privacy Notice attached to that engagement, or we are required to disclose it by law.
4. Where your data may be sent
Your information is processed on servers located in the United States, operated by our website hosting provider, Heroku. Cloudflare also handles traffic to and from the Website, for security and performance purposes. Both are required to protect your information to a reasonable standard.
5. How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to an engagement with us, we keep your information for up to 5 years, consistent with how we handle client data more generally, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever is earlier.
6. Your rights
You may ask us to access or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting our Data Protection Officer below. Regardless of which data protection law applies to you, we will make reasonable efforts to honour these requests.
7. Governing law
This notice is governed by the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act. Where another data protection law applies to you, for example the EU General Data Protection Regulation, we will take reasonable steps to meet its requirements as well.
